How does Clinical AI Analysis work?
Choose a clinical template, complete its fields manually or with Fill Template Fields from your dictated or typed note, attach any available reports and select Analyze with DxCopilot. The analysis appears in labelled cards, and you accept, edit or remove each suggestion.
Can I edit templates or create my own?
Yes. Start from a built-in specialty template, edit its sections and fields, duplicate it, create one from scratch, or save a recorded visit as a new template. Reconfigure AI chooses which parts of the analysis a template asks for and how detailed the response is.
Which report formats are supported?
PDF, Word (DOCX), plain text, and JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF images. By default each file can be up to 10 MB, with up to 10 files per visit and 5 included in each analysis. Printed text in images and scanned pages is recognised in your browser with an English recognition model, and you can review and correct it before it is sent.
Does DxCopilot interpret images, scans or ECG traces?
No. The analysis works from text: text read from documents and printed text recognised in images and scans. It does not visually interpret images, scans or ECG traces, and recognition can contain errors. Each report shows a status such as Processed, Partially Processed or No Text Found.
What does the analysis include?
Depending on the template's settings: Alerts, Clinical Summary, Differential Diagnosis, What Might Be Missing?, Risk Scores, Suggested Tests, Treatment, Medications, Second Opinion, an optional Follow-Up Plan, and Citations & References. Each attached report also gets its own card with a summary, key findings, abnormal or important findings, clinical significance and warnings.
Are attached reports stored?
For Solo Doctor accounts, attached files are not stored. Their text is extracted in memory, only that text is sent to the configured AI model, and the files are discarded. Do not include direct patient identifiers in uploads. The privacy policy describes how information is handled.
How are Clinical AI Analysis credits used?
Each completed analysis that reaches the AI model uses one Clinical AI Analysis credit, separate from Quick Prescription & Notes credits. Your plan and account show the allowance and what remains.
Does the analysis replace my clinical judgment?
No. It is clinical decision support. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect; review every suggestion against the patient and appropriate sources. You remain responsible for diagnosis, prescribing and treatment.
